Life can pull you off track. One small compromise turns into a season of distance. Before you know it, prayer feels dry, the Bible collects dust, and your faith feels flat. But the good news is this, God never left. He’s waiting for you to come back.
“Come near to God and he will come near to you.” James 4:8
That’s not theory. That’s a promise. You can reset your life with God starting right now. No matter how far you’ve drifted.
Start by getting honest. Stop pretending everything’s fine. Bring your sin, your habits, your apathy, and your pain to Him. Confession isn’t weakness; it’s strength.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
God doesn’t just forgive, He restores.
Next, reset your habits. Spend time in prayer every morning before anything else. Read one chapter of Scripture daily. Fast once a week to quiet your flesh and focus your spirit. Move your body. Eat clean foods. Sleep on time. When your physical discipline aligns with your spiritual discipline, your whole life changes.
Most men wait for the “perfect time” to come back to God. Don’t. There’s no better moment than right now. God used broken men like Moses, David, and Peter. Men who fell, repented, and got back up. You can too.
This reset isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being obedient. It’s about saying, “God, I’m ready to start again.”
God won’t bless the version of you that refuses to change.
