Most men never stop to think about what God actually says about food. We follow diets, fads, or cravings—but forget that the Bible started with a menu.
In Genesis 1:29 (NIV), God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
That’s Bible food—simple, natural, straight from the ground. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and clean meats later approved in Leviticus. Nothing processed. Nothing fake. Food was never meant to be entertainment—it was meant to be fuel to honor God with your body.
Science backs this up. Studies show that whole, unprocessed foods reduce inflammation, lower body fat, and improve energy levels. The more we eat the way God designed, the better our bodies perform.
The problem? Most of us eat like the world instead of like the Word. We chase pleasure over purpose, convenience over conviction. We eat with emotion instead of intention.
The solution is to return to God’s design. Eat real food. Pray before every meal. Choose what gives life, not just flavor. Food can either bring you closer to God—or pull you farther away.
Challenge:
This week, eat only foods God made. If it didn’t grow from the ground or come from something that did, skip it. Watch what happens to your energy, focus, and faith when you start eating Bible food.
